One bright April day in 1912, six little girls sailed with their families on the "grandest ship ever" - the Titanic - and into the history books. But did one of them actually survive that tragic night?
When young widow Arlisle Shepherd receives an invitation to attend the 100 year anniversary memorial cruise for the descendants of passengers of the ill-fated Titanic, she is more than baffled. She is both suspicious and fearful. Suspicious because she believes she has no Titanic ancestor; fearful because of the threatening phone calls she's been receiving since the unsolved murder of her detective husband a year earlier.
As Arlie's search for her mysterious ancestor takes her deep into her grandmother's secretive past, to elderly chatty neighbors who suddenly refuse to talk, to lonely cemeteries and to increasing threats and suspicious deaths, it also pushes her toward the possibility of once more opening her heart. But - has one of those closest to her betrayed her?
And ultimately - is solving the mystery of her Titanic ancestor worth her life?

I just finished Titanic The Lost Child. I was down for the whole book after reading the first chapter. I am glad I decided to purchase this book. Bonnie Doone is definately a gifted writer with the ability to not only draw the reader into the story but to make it a believable and emotion filled saga spanning 100 years. I applaud her ability to take a much used subject line and make a story that is fresh and new. I have always been fascinated with the Titanic and often wondered about those who perished and those who survived and how their lives and their family's lives were forever changed. How clever of this author to create a mystery surrounding six little girls who's bodies were never accounted for and bring that premise into the future to touch the life of one withdrawn woman who continues to feel the impact of loss a century after that fateful night. If you enjoy mysteries, intrigue, history, geoneology, murder or romance. This book is for you. I look forward to Bonnies next book coming out in 2014 the continuation of Titanic The Lost Child and her book in the works. A ghost story set in Colorado in the early 1900s. Do yourself a favor buy this book you will have that satisfied feeling of time well spent.Product details

Titanic The Lost Child A Titanic Mystery Series Book 1 edition by Bonnie Dune Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
This is a very innovative story about the legendary Titanic. I found myself sitting down to read for a short 15 mins and before I knew it 1 hour was up. Great plot and twists.. The writing was so descriptive and exciting, i could picture each scene as I was reading it. I think it could be an amazing movie. I will definitely read more books by Bonnie Dune.
Ms. Dune's style places the reader in the scene and keeps the reader's interest. Her flashback technique, adds to and clarifies the story line. Not until the plot plays out does one fully grasp the "who" of the "who done it." Great read.
This book was just wonderful. Bonnie did such a good job with mixing you fictional family with the history of the Titanic. I would recommend this book. Wish I could give it more the 5 stars.
I've always been fascinated by the "Titanic", however, not much of a reader. I purchased this book and could not leave it alone, suspense, romance, happiness, sadness, and so very true. So guess what ? I purchased a Fire and will wait for Bonnie Dune's next book, in the meantime I will continue reading on my new .. Thank you young lady, do you have other books available ???
I normally read science fiction but this book was highly recommended to me so I tried it - I was hooked in the first chapter and didn't want to put it down.
The book is very well written and I really liked the way the author split between the past & the present. It was obvious that a tremendous amount of time was spent researching the historical facts concerning the Titanic.
I have recommended this book to several of my friends and family. I'm looking forward to the author's next book.
The Titanic - don't you wish you knew the real story? A little girl, spoiled and adored by her parents boards the Titanic with her family and two maids.
A hundred years later a woman loses her husband and mourns his loss. Then the phone calls begin and an invitation arrives for a memorial cruise for descendants of the survivors of the Titanic. Arlie doesn't qualify -or does she.
We learn about the sinking of the Titanic as the two stories are told, intertwined with each other.
It's very well done. You'll enjoy it.
Arlisle doesn't understand why several strangers threaten her due to her mysterious connection to a little lost girl from the Titanic...an interesting mystery. I thought the characters and plot on the Titanic section of the book were particularly good.
